Footnotes
STEELE TOWN had the fence sitting near the rear, began to reach for more ground pushing his way outside three wide coming up to the three furlong marker, swooped three to four wide with a strong turn of foot picking off rivals around the last turn, drifted inwards for a moment from the four path with the rider wanting to switch leads, found another gear leaving the furlong marker finally getting on the correct lead and powered past at the sixteenth pole holding for the win. MY SWAGG DADDY LOU settled close to the back outside finding his stride, started to just make a rally when forced out by the eventual winner four wide at the three-eighths pole, stalled with his run around the last turn, angled out widest to the six pathin mid-stretch and was full of run resurging smartly in the final furlong but could not get to the winner in time. FULL STAR was brushed by the inside foe on the break, travelled three wide in the second flight on the initial bend, had aim on the lead twosome while still three deep down the backside, made a sharp crisp move three wide taking control at the quarter pole, was holding his own up top just off the rail in upper stretch, could not find more unable to fend off the winner outside at the sixteenth po,e and faded slightly late getting picked up by an outside rival for the runners up share nearing the wire. TRANQUILLO had a good spot nestled on the rail watching the front duo in the early stages, had aim on the lead trio waiting on the fence at the quarter marker, shifted four wide off the leaders getting clear run in upper stretch but could only run on evenly in the late going holding for a mi or placing. MISTER BEAN was hard sent on the rail I tent with being on the front end, rolled along loose up top down the backside, offered no resistance when collared outside at the quarter marker and wilted inside rivals in the final sixteenth of a mile. YORKSTREET was forwardly positioned between foes keeping tabs on the front pair, dropped back to midfield with the pack very strung out down the ba stretch, regressed two wide at the quarter pole but did come back on improving outside runners in the final furlong. GELATO had the rail sitting in mid-division, saved ground but could not get into gear through the final bend, hugged the rail briefly advancing turning for home but could not get involved in the late going. ALMASTY FIVE had only one runner beaten in the beginning, made no progression down the backside and throughout the final turn and in the two path had little impact in the stretch running. HE'S A PIPER broke out on the start, was unhurried trailing the field in the early stages, lagged well behind the pack through the running around the final bend and managed to pass a leg weary straggler in deep stretch. NO CAPE tracked the pacesetter outside on the first of two turns, chased the pace outside along the back straight, inched up while being hard ridden vying between foes in the conversation up top at the five sixteenths pole, emptied out backing away abruptly in the three path turning for home and was wrapped up in the final furlong cantering across the wire. RIDERS CLAIM OF FOUL #11 MY SWAG DAADY LOU AGAINST #6 STEELE TOWN COMING UP TO THE THREE-EIGHTHS POLE WAS DISALLOWED
