Footnotes
CHOCOLATECROISSANT (IRE) stumbled on the break, recouped to had the fence sitting in mid-division, started to reach for more ground on the rail at the half, sat poised behind the embattled trio waiting to move midway along the last turn, shifted out four wide at the quarter marker being asked for run and powered past with ease in deep stretch to win going away at the finish line. RIDEAU FALLS broke out at the start, had an inside tracking role in the early stages, quickly pounced on the leg weary leader two wide between foes getting a head in front midway around the final bend, edged clear in the two path at the top of the lane but was no match for the late surge by the winner in the final sixteenth of a mile while easily besting the rest for the secondary prize. DON'T SAY A WORD was sandwiched at the start spotting the field by many in the early stages, caught up to the group by the half, was roused making a sharp move inside at the midpoint of the far turn, shifted out widest in the five-path getting into contention straightening out for the stretch drive, stalled at the furlong marker and finished up a clear third under a strong effort nonetheless considering the poor start. BERMUDA BREW broke inwards on the start, pulled the rider closer going three wide on the first of two turns, continued to improve three deep down by the half mile marker, moved in making a bid three wide outside at the five sixteenths pole, gave way fighting up front three wide turning for home and faded on the fence in the final furlong holding for the minors. FLIGHTMARE was hustled inside having the lead loose on the rail on the beginning bend, increased the advantage down the backside travelling into the headwind, offered no resistance inside two others when collared at the five sixteenths pole and wilted on the fence in upper stretch. RACE DAY CHANCE was forced in at the break, tracked the pacesetter outside around the initial bend, was nudged on for more but could not hold forward position between rivals midway along the backside, dropped out two wide on the far turn now seeing the field, came up empty for the drive at the head of the lane and cantered in crossing the finish line.
