BACCARO POINT got away alertly and shifted in with the early lead, was overtaken passing the five-eighths and pressed from inside, re-took a narrow lead near the nine-sixteenths, shook clear turning into upper stretch, widened at that juncture under urging then held safe. LAKE NASSER broke awkwardly, trailed into the turn, lacked room in behind runners near the inside passing the quarter pole, angled four then five wide at the top of the stretch, ran on but was too little too late to reach the winner. FRIENDLY was bumped at the start, switched out early, moved up chasing between foes four wide on the turn, swung seven wide into upper stretch, ran on. WONDERFUL QUALITY bumped the outside rival at the start, pursued from inside, was ridden along by the five-sixteenths inside the second flight, came out in upper- to mid-stretch bumping an outside foe several times, kept on for the minor award. ASHUKA advanced between foes late up the backstretch, chased three wide on the turn and was encouraged by the five-sixteenths, angled out six deep turning for home, needed more. BETTERMUSTCOME attended the early pace from between foes just briefly, dropped back and was ridden along by the five-eighths, chased between foes two wide into the turn, was forced out and bumped several times in upper- to mid-stretch. I WANNA BE ME moved forward outside to take a narrow advantage past the five-eighths, was overtaken by the inside rival leaving the backstretch, contended outside that one and started weakening later on the turn, was bumped hard and and steadied in mid-stretch, faded. GRAN GHOST was encouraged from the start, chased racing outside foes five wide on the turn, dropped back and faded.
