Footnotes
FLORIBUNDA had a tracking position on the outside, patiently shadowed the pacesetter down the backstretch, closed in three wide by the quarter pole, wore down rivals in the stretch and inched away from a clustered bunch late for the win. INDIANA ROAD stalked in the second to last pair on the outside into the first turn, edged closer three deep along the backstretch, began to pick up horses four wide around foes at the quarter pole and in the five path was surging down the stretch but it was not enough as the wire came up first. OUR FLAG FLYING assumed the lead setting a soft pace entering the first turn, continued up top but quickened the tempo along the backside, was still in front narrowly between horses in the two path in upper stretch, fought on stubbornly but gave way grudgingly in deep stretch to the top two rivals just losing a tight photo for the place share. CARDIO PRINCESS (JPN) had a good spot tracking the leader on the rail, comfortably sat just behind the pacesetter down the backside, drafted behind the frontrunner through the far turn, had a clear seam on the fence at the top of the stretch but needed more late, finishing up gradually inside foes settling for a minor role in the end. DOMER ALLURE broke out on the start, stalked near the rear ahead of a couple runners, kept pace through the far turn saving ground, shifted out to the six path for a clear lane and finished up strongly moving the best in deep stretch. DREAMS AND SCHEMES travelled in midfield on the outside of a rival, stalked in the third tier outside down the back straight, mounted a rally three wide at the quarter pole to be in the mix in the four path straightening out for the drive but could only finish up one paced in the last furlong. FOXY DIVA co-trailed on the outside, stalked at the rear down the backside, was roused but made little movement just outside on the final turn, angled out in the five path for the stretch run but lacked a finishing rally to the wire. O WOW was brushed inside on the start, nestled smartly on the fence watching the lead trio in the early parts of the race, stalked in the third flight on the rail along the backside, waited in hand two wide midturn for the cue to go, shifted out three wide with a chance for a piece of the prize turning for home but could not offer a finish through the stretch. MORAL TURPITUDE was off slowly to co-trail inside in the early stages, made no advance in the far turn, angled out six wide at the top of the lane but could not factor in the drive to the wire.
