Footnotes
AWASEF broke outwardly, raced off the leaders but advanced some inside on the turn, came out at the quarter pole, was five wide in upper stretch with aim, took the lead past the eighth pole and edged away late. LUNCH WITH BERNIE pressed in the very early going then continued to pursue the leader two to three wide, took over the lead at the quarter pole, proved no match for the winner but held place. ONTARIO broke a step slowly and in a bit tight, was thereafter slow to gather and trailed early, shifted in and raced nearer the rail into and on the turn, came out a bit then back in at the top of the stretch, kept on well to get up for show honors. ALLISTON chased three to four wide, floated six wide turning for home, ran on but needed more. LOGISTICS was very reluctant to load, broke out a bit, chased up close and outside, went four to five wide on the turn, kept on in the stretch. BOLT ENOREE raced outside at the back, swung ten wide for the stretch run and improved position. COFFEE CRISP was encouraged along three wide on the turn, failed to rally. HELEN'S LITTLE SIS brushed a rival at the start, settled off the pace, made a swift advance outside on the turn five to six wide, came into upper stretch eight to nine deep and faltered, faded late. ARAMI'S FACTOR soon led inside, moved clear up the backstretch, was overtaken by the quarter pole, faltered and faded. STEALIN'TIME chased off the inside, shifted to the rail past the three-eighths, was never near enough to threaten.
