Footnotes
DRESDEN ROW tracked four wide outside foes in the initial bend, moved closer outside to hound the pacesetter down the backside, closed in when nudged by the rider with five sixteenths from the wire, took control outside with a quarter mile left to run, held off an early bid at the top of the lane and then had more when needed late to fend off the late challenge in deep stretch as well. BAIL US OUT was nestled on the rail watching the lone speed in the first bend, dropped back on the fence to be in the last group along the backside, was roused three furlongs out beginning the lengthen stride, angled out three wide turning for home, shifted out more switching back to the wrong lead five wide at the furlong pole and was still gaining late but could not get to the winner in time. ROSCAR tracked with runners on either side in the two path in the early going, travelled inside a rival in the second flight just behind the front two down the backstretch, edged closer through the far turn, swung out four wide posing a threat turning for home but was no match for the top two finishers in deep stretch and settled for a clear third at the wire. TWO GHOSTS had a tracking role three wide between horses in the first bend watching the leader, tracked in the second pairing outside down the backstretch, came under a ride between foes in the two path midway around the final turn and finished up mildly five wide down the lane to settle for a minor placing in the end. SWIFT DELIVERY co-trailed on the outside in the beginning, stalked three deep near the rear when entering the backstretch, narrowed the margin on the leader outside at the half, was urged right-handed three wide midway around the final bend to be in range six wide when angling out in upper stretch, could not find more for the drive and stalled outside foes in the final furlong. BABBO was roused taking command on the rail through the first of two turns, set a lively pace while shadowed by the winner outside down the back straight, tried to spurt away at the half, was collared outside having no answer for the winner at the quarter pole and retreated on the fence at the furlong marker. MISS ROBERTS (GB) was hard held co-trailing on the inside into the first turn, stalked between runners in the last group along the backside, was roused but could not gain on rivals while at the back through the last bend and had little offer through the stretch drive.
