INDIAN PEAK was unhurried, settling in the last position in the beginning, ranged up on the fence into the turn closing the gap smartly, shifted out coming to the contesting trio four wide in upper stretch, dueled for the front end under left handed urging at the eighth pole and drew off in the late stages for the win. CAUGHT SPEEDING was under a tight hold edging away for a clear lead inside at the nine sixteenths pole down the backside, maintained a slim advantage saving ground around the turn, spurted away slightly at the top of the lane, was collared outside by the winner at the furlong pole unable to match strides late but finished up solidly for the runners up share in the end. PRICELESS WILL was part of the rear trio stalking between runners, was scrubbed on in the three path in midturn starting to make a move, angled out five wide with a chance while reaching for more ground turning for home and ran on willingly to be a non-threatening third at the wire. SOUPER SUCCESS shadowed the leader outside initially, prompted the issue three wide outside two others throughout the turn battling up top, still was in the conversation three wide at the head of the lane, could not find more in mid-stretch and yielded at the furlong marker. BACHELOR PAD was isolated tracking the front duo early on, became headstrong midway down the backstretch and drove up in tight between foes at the half mile marker, vied with runners on both sides for the lead around the oval, continued in the mix two wide with the field spread across at the top of the stretch, could not offer a finishing kick and wilted inside horses in the final furlong. HIGHLAND LIFE travelled three deep sharing the rear outside two others in the beginning, made little impact still outside, at least three wide around the turn, swung out widest with the field six abreast turning for home but had little to show in the stretch running.
