Footnotes
REB FIVE was hard to load, broke well then eased back off the leading pair stalking from outside into the turn, swept four to five wide taking command at the top of the stretch, drew clear, was kept to the task. FLYONBYE tracked inside, saved ground, was held up in behind briefly near the quarter pole, angled out in upper stretch, was no match but second best. CROSBY set a pressured pace inside, had no extra. GELATO was encouraged along near the inside three furlongs out, was guided out nearing the quarter pole, came into upper stretch six deep, drifted in a bit, went evenly after. WEMBLEY AVENUE was ridden along past the half, passed tired rivals. MIDNIGHT MISCHIEF pressed the pace from outside, gave way in upper stretch. BOBCAYGEON broke a step slowly, switched out and made an early advance outside, dropped back and faded.
