RELOAD RALEIGH broke a bit awkwardly bumping a rival at the start, moved forward inside under coaxing, challenged for and took the lead after the opening quarter, edged clear past the three-eighths, shook free of a challenger at the three-sixteenths, came out in late stretch and just lasted while bumping a foe at the wire. SILVER IS BEST settled off the pace, saved ground through the turn, came out in upper stretch with aim on the leader, was gaining steadily but just missed. SOUPER SPORTY was prominent early then taken back off the leaders to stalk from inside, saved ground on the turn, moved out at the quarter pole advancing on the leader, made a mild bid nearly drawing even at the top of the stretch but could not kick on, was clearly best of the rest. AUNTIE'S BAMBINO was bumped into a rival at the start, chased two to three wide mid-division. BIG BOLD AND FIRST was bumped at the start, had the early lead setting the pace from outside, dropped back three to four wide on the turn, had no late bid. STREETSHAVENONAME lacked early speed racing far back, swung six wide in upper stretch and passed tired foes. B THE KING bumped a rival at the start, raced off the pace and off the inside, was never near enough to threaten. IMYOURMEDICINEMAN was bumped at the start, moved forward to contest the pace from between runners at the five-eighths, continued to chase on the turn, dropped back and faded. BANK ON BIG WINNER dropped back on the turn, failed to menace.
