BOLD RELOAD was coaxed forward from the start and soon made the lead, set the pace shadowed by outside foes, kicked clear in upper stretch, shortened stride but lasted. WINSTON BLUE shifted in early, tracked inside in behind the leaders, moved out leaving the turn coming into upper stretch four then five wide, was gaining late, just held the outside foe for second and missed for the top prize. VALLEY VICTORY broke just a step slowly, settled well back, advanced inside on the turn, moved out angling six wide leaving the turn, brushed lightly with a foe at the top of the stretch, kept on gaining steadily late but missed place. WILBERFORCE angled in early, settled off the pace three to four wide, was carried out near the quarter pole, came into upper stretch seven then eight wide, ran on late but needed more. U S ARMY CORPS settled outside at the back, was carried out past the quarter when forced outside foes, came into upper stretch ten deep, kept on widest of all but needed more. YORKVILLE was moved out and kept wide in the early going, attended the pace from outside just off the leader, weakened in the stretch. KID FORESTER broke just a half step slowly, moved forward inside, angled five wide leaving the turn brushing lightly with a rival at the top of the stretch then shifting in, ran on evenly. SILENT FORTUNE stalked the leading pair, was under urging past the three-eighths racing three to four wide on the turn, faded from between runners in upper stretch. GUILDSMAN (FR) chased from outside mid-pack, dropped back between foes, shifted in to ride the rail into upper stretch, failed to menace. CAUSIN' MAYHEM checked near the three-quarter pole in pursuit of the leaders as those came out a bit, chased in behind racing a bit rank and dropping back entering the turn, checked again near the quarter pole while dropping back between foes and being carried out, was not persevered through the stretch, walked off. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF #4 CAUSIN' MAYHEM AGAINST BOTH #3 YORKVILLE AND # 6 VALLEY VICTORY, AND AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF #7 U S ARMY CORPS AGAINST #6 VALLEY VICTORY ALLEGING INTERFERENCE, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN AND RESULTS TO STAND AS IS.
