Footnotes
ZABO bobbled at the start, was urged forward from between foes to the lead after the opening furlong and clear, set the pace from off the rail, was pressured at the half, vied inside till past the furlong marker, took a small advantage and held sway under steady handling. HAMMERHEAD stalked from outside, moved forward to prompt the issue at the half drawing even, dueled into mid-stretch, was outkicked but second best. OCEAN ATLANTIQUE settled off the pace toward the back two to three wide, moved out advancing outside rivals on the third and final turn fanning six wide into upper stretch, gained outside, was best of the rest. ONE MORE BREW got away well and with the early lead, edged clear and shifted in then was taken off the pace under a hold to track in behind inside, saved ground near the fence, moved out leaving the final turn coming into upper stretch four to five wide and under a drive, ran on evenly. JUNIPERO SERRA was just slightly stopped after the opening furlong as numerous runners in front slowed down, moved out three wide on that first turn, made a steady early advance four wide outside foes into and on the second turn, was in range on the far turn floating out five deep turning for home, kept on late but was not enough. MEYER had to tap on the brakes just briefly in behind runners early, settled mid-division inside, saved ground throughout, ran on evenly inside. CORNWALL stalked mid-pack going mostly three wide through the turns, weakened. GRANDSON was a bit tight after a furlong along the rail, settled at the rear, saved ground, was never near enough to threaten. BOWMAN'S RUN was off the pace racing mostly three wide on all turns, failed to menace.
