CANYOUHEARMERUNNIN appeared not prepared at the start and got away a few lengths slowly, moved forward up the inside early to regain contact with the leaders just tracking in behind those, switched out near the eighth pole for room, had aim on the leader, gained steadily to get up late. HE SHOOTS HE WINS quickly took command, set the pace inside shadowing rivals on or just off the rail, came out a bit leaving the turn, was collared late but clearly second best. DETERMINED FURY advanced outside foes on the turn five then six wide, gained show honors willingly, could not threaten the top pair but was best of the rest and wrapped up late. BANKER'S HOURS settled off the pace, saved some ground on the turn, rallied mildly up the rail. JMR SPEEDY ESCAPE pressed from between runners about three wide, lacked the needed late kick. SOUPER RUSH was encouraged along from the five-sixteenths racing outside foes about mid-pack, was mostly five to seven wide throughout, failed to rally in the lane. HE'S FULLY LOADED was up close attending then chasing the pace four wide and outside, weakened. DANCIN' DEPUTY was toward the rear off the rail and never near enough to threaten. ORPHAN HALLIE shifted in early, was not a factor.
