Footnotes
LADY IZZY had a good trip tracking the frontrunner on the outside, moved in to force the issue three eighths from the prize, battled outside up top until the furlong marker and then pulled away in the last sixteenth for the win. TOP OF D MOUNTAIN was checked on the fence losing her path at the seven furlong marker, improved on the rail down the backstretch, waited behind the embattled duo through the far turn, bullied her way through making a seam three wide in upper stretch and while not switching leads chased the winner in vain down the stretch to the finish line. ALTA CALIBRE hopped slightly on the break, stalked near the rear on the rail, made a sharp move taking closer order on the rail three furlongs out, shifted outside to the three path at the quarter pole and in the five path down the stretch rallied smartly outside foes to capture the show award. PAT'S HOLIDAY travelled three wide in midfield, had a quick turn of foot going around horse three wide entering the final bend to track the contesting duo by the quarter pole, angled out four wide between foes to be in the thick of things turning for home but was outkicked in the final eighth of a mile. RHAENYRA had an uncontested lead going into the first of two turns, slowed the pace down the backstretch still moving well up top, was headed outside by the winner three eighths from home, battled on stubbornly inside until the sixteenth pole. SERENADING KITTEN stumbled badly going to her knees at the start, trailed the field down the backside, started to offer a rally going around rivals four wide three eighths out, could not sustain the run and levelled off by the furlong pole. LEMONCELLA SPRITZ was pushed out four wide into the first turn, settled near the rear ahead of only the poor starter along the backside, made a brief run three wide between horses at the three furlong marker but could not factor in the three path in the stretch drive. FAULTFINDER travelled between rivals in midfield in the early stages, had to be checked in tight quarters causing her to be shuffled back at the three eighths marker and could not recover late to be a presence running down the lane. DANCIN MARY MARIE tracked the leader on the rail, could not maintain forward position in the two path when scrubbed on at the three furlong pole, backed away around the final bend and emptied out between horses two wide in upper stretch.
