NERVES OF STEEL stalked near the rear on the outside high headed, made a sharp move swooping three wide around horses in midturn, loomed boldly in the eight path turning for home, kept coming with his head cocked, laying in down the stretch, switched leads late and got up in the final few strides for the win. EMBRACE MY UNCLE stalked near the back on the rail, made little headway taking the short way around the turn, began to pick up horses inside at the quarter pole. split foes in the two path to be in the fray up top by mid-stretch, never wavered running inside the winner to the finish line but just missed in the end. BACHELOR PAD prompted the pace outside, moved in to take over control outside with a quarter mile to run, angled out in the five path clinging onto the lead in upper stretch but faded three wide between horses in deep stretch to be a clear third. VICTORY MARCH settled inside runners in mid-division, closed in on the rail by the half, angled out five wide for the drive to the wire and finished up with interest. MIGHTY SEA travelled outside rivals in midfield, was going the wrong way regressing around the turn and while three wide came back on resurging in deep stretch. IT'S A FLUKE was away quickly taking command down the backside, relinquished the lead on the rail at the quarter pole, fought back on the fence in upper stretch, had little left late and retreated inside foes at the sixteenth pole. CLASSIC DANCER tracked the engaged duo three deep along the backside, was hard ridden inching closer at the quarter pole to be in range in the six path at the top of the lane but yielded in the final furlong. LOBBY BAR was unhurried trailing in the beginning, could not get involved through the turn and never factored in the stretch running.
