LONG POND settled off the pace inside, advanced on the turn, moved out nearing the quarter pole, fanned six wide into the stretch under urging, struck the lead past the furlong marker and drew clear. READY FOR A FIGHT stalked from outside, edged closer and took a narrow lead at the three-sixteenths, drifted out a bit soon after, was overtaken in mid-stretch but fought on to hold the place. EXECUTIVE SEARCH settled outside the eventual winner mid-pack, moved with that one leaving the turn fanning seven wide into upper stretch, kicked on mildly but needed more. EXCHANGE DAY stalked from outside, fanned five wide into the stretch, was guided outside foes and kept on. MASTER SPY tracked from inside in behind, was off the rail turning for home, went evenly late. MANNIX (IRE) was outpaced early, swung eight deep into upper stretch, ran on with some moderate late gain. SEA SCOUT saved ground on the turn, was under urging past the three-eighths but never got near enough to threaten. BLACKTECA quickly moved clear, set the pace, faltered and faded in the stretch.
