NO WHAMMIE shared the rear while on the outside of another early on, closed in going three wide around horses on the turn, angled out widest in the six path full of run at the top of the lane, seized control with a sixteenth to run and held outside in a tight finish at the wire. MI TORMENTA co-trailed on the inside down the back straight, edged up taking the shortest route around the bend, scraped paint to be in the conversation up top straightening out for home, darted through inside at the sixteenth pole but just missed with a late surge, losing the head nod at the finish line. VICTORIA ELIZABETH vied between runners early on, had a tracking position watching the engaged duo at the half,waited for the cue to move keeping a close eye on the lead pair on the turn, shifted out in the five path for the drive, was in tight between rivals in early upper stretch, had clear run in the hunt at the furlong pole, could not keep up to the top two horses late but did manage to win the battle for the third place share in a photo at the finish. REALLY THIRSTY had the rail narrowly up front down the backside in the beginning, dueled inside around the oval, edged away disposing of the early speed rival while in the two path at the top of the stretch, still was clinging onto the front with a furlong to go having rivals bearing down on each side and faded between horses in the final sixteenth, just missing holding for the show money at the wire. VANDOO settled on the outside in mid-pack, was relegated to the rear between horses at the three furlong marker, narrowed the margin slightly through the bend to be in within striking distance three wide in upper stretch, had little for the late running and could only pass a weary foe in deep stretch. SASSY MELISSA battled outside down the backstretch, continued to duel outside bobbing heads up top throughout the turn, had enough giving way in the four path between rivals turning for home and folded by the furlong marker.
