Footnotes
MOONLIGHT PROMISES was urged at the start to make the lead from outside, soon moved clear and shifted in a bit, was put to vigorous hand-urging in upper stretch in front by open lengths, received a few right-handers past the furlong marker, held safe while much the best. ALPHA GAMMA GIRL tracked from inside, moved off the rail late on the turn, chased the winner home but could make no headway. SILENT STRIKE settled mid-division, saved ground on the turn, came out at the top of the stretch, ran on. TIZ READY chased the eventual winner racing outside a rival through the turn, floated wider turning for home and weakened. BOSS LADY J lacked early speed despite urging, came out in the stretch, was never near enough to threaten. CHARITY FIRST was outpaced racing outside at the back, failed to make a bid.
