Footnotes
DUCKDUCKDUCK stumbled to his knees at the start, recovered smartly down the backside to watch the front three rivals at the half, had good outside position in the second flight in hand keeping a close eye on the embattled duo around the bend, moved in to be in the hunt four wide at the top of the stretch, captured the lead leaving the furlong marker between rivals and prevailed to the wire with an impressive game effort considering the start. MR. PERFECT travelled in the five path sitting in mid-division at the half, had a good turn of foot picking up inside runners three wide in midturn, moved out looming boldly five wide at the top of the stretch, drifted in at the furlong pole having to correct his course in the late running, could no go past the winner in deep stretch and just saved for the second place share at the wire. SANS DANCER broke in at the start, settled near the rear in the early going, started to make a rally shifting out three wide at the quarter pole, angled to the five path for the stretch drive, was full of run outside foes in the last eighth of a mile and charged home late to almost get up for the runners up share at the finish line. CALL ME BOND was roused slightly in the beginning to sit inside of runners in mid-pack at the half, kept pace under a ride through the turn, shifted to the four path in upper stretch, moved back inside two wide with a furlong still to run and got up nearing the wire for a minor role in the end. LADY DAYRELLS pressed the pace inside down the backstretch, threw it down on the rail fighting up front around the oval, narrowly had the top spot inside horses while two wide turning for home, gave way on the lead with outside foes bearing down at the furlong pole and faded in the final seventy yards losing a couple of placings late. MASTER STEAL had his head in front outside another down the backside, battled with the persistent inside runner around the turn, remained in the mix in the three path with rivals on either side straightening out for the drive, could not find more late and folded by the sixteenth pole. AUNTIE'S BAMBINO was hustled down the back straight chasing the top pair, came under a busy ride through the turn but was retreating on the fence at the quarter pole, had nothing left for the stretch run and faltered in the two path at the top of the stretch. BONGINO WARRIOR was void of early foot trailed the field down the backside, lost touch with the group around the turn, and galloped down the lane crossing the wire well behind runners in the end. STELLA POINT reared up on the break unseating the rider and walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY REGARDING THE START OF #9 STELLA POINT WAS DEEMED TO HAVE RECIEVED A FAIR START THEREFORE NO CHANGE
