BELLS OF PARADISE had inside position watching the frontrunner, inched up going outside to the two-path midway on the bend, moved to the leader three wide straightening out for home, took control with just a shake of the reins at the furlong marker, drifted in under right-handed encouragement at the sixteenth pole while clear and held sway at the finish line for the win. BOSSY CANDY had a stalking trip on the rail to begin, edged closer taking the short way around the bend, had to be put on hold behind runners having no room at the five sixteenths pole, found a seam skimming the fence at the top of the lane, darted through to be the main opposition for the winner at the furlong pole, angled out losing her path when the leader drifted in at the sixteenth pole, kept coming to the wire, could not get there in the end but easily bested the rest for the runners up share. MYSTICAL MAGIC travelled four deep near the rear in the early running, was a touch eager behind a wall of foes at the three-furlong pole seeing the field, had to check out slightly wanting to get outside horses in midturn, closed the gap sharply swinging out widest, seven abreast at the top of the stretch, ran greenly veering inwards for a moment in upper stretch, did not switch leads in the drive but still was closing belatedly down the lane and finished up to be a good but non threaten third at the wire. ALLURING AMY broke out on the start, had a tracking position three deep down the back straight, settled into stride on the outside of others in the second flight through the turn, was in the conversation up front four wide straightening out for the drive, could not quicken with the lead pair by the eighth pole and evened out late holding for a minor share in the end. VANISH was brushed outside on the start, tracked between rivals at the half, was shuffled back at the three furlong marker to be last at the quarter pole, angled to the three path for the drive to the wire and had good late energy improving inside foes in the final seventy yards. KNOCKONWOOD veered in on the break but was quickly corrected, sat in midfield in the early going, offered a brief run three wide at the three furlong pole until the top of the stretch five wide, could not continue on with others on each side and stalled with an eighth of a mile still to run. TWIST OF SUGAR was away alertly to be loose on the lead down the backside, rolled along unopposed around the oval, was collared on both sides in the two path turning for home, had little left to give in the late running and faltered at the furlong pole. SIENNA AURA tossed her head at the start, stalked near the rear along the back straight, tried to circle around horses four wide around the turn, still was in with a chance a piece of the prize in the six path between rivals at the top of the lane, could not sustain the rally and wilted in the final furlong.
