GAMBLE ON LOVE broke just a bit awkwardly and was immediately urged forward, gained position stalking the leaders from outside, went four wide on the turn beginning to advance, had aim in upper stretch, struck the lead about the eighth pole, drew clear. SERIOUS GREEN exchanged a bump at the start then was bumped into a rival, moved forward under some coaxing to make the lead from between runners, set the pace, was overtaken past the quarter pole, could not kick on with the winner but fought back for place. KEE'S FLATTER bumped a rival just after the start, was in tight soon after and shuffled a bit, moved up chasing mid-pack off the rail, went mostly two to three wide on the turn and encouraged along from the five-sixteenths, came out a bit wider past mid-stretch and finished well to get up for show. IMPERIAL TRICK had a brief early lead but was outsprinted, stalked that runner three wide, moved closer late on the turn taking the lead outside the three-sixteenths, was outkicked. PHAST PHOEBE veered in at the start, settled at the back, swung seven wide for the drive, drifted about in the stretch but kept on. HER OBSESSION settled off the pace and off the rail, was in tight between runners coming past the five-sixteenths, took up just slightly and altered out, fanned six wide into the stretch, altered outside a drifting rival in mid-stretch, was never near enough to threaten. CANTUCCINI settled outside off the pace, was mostly three to five wide and never a threat. BLACK GODDESS bumped with a rival at the start, showed brief speed chasing inside, faded. AMI'S CRY was off the inside part of the track and not a factor.
