Footnotes
MISS IN RED prompted the pace in hand three wide along the backside, hounded the frontrunner on the outside flank moving well around the bend, seized command four wide at the top of the lane, opened up when urged right handed at the furlong marker and pulled away reaching for more ground in deep stretch for the dominant win. DANCIN MARY MARIE had a slim advantage inside the two challengers up top in early backstretch, lost the lead at the midway point of the backside, dropped back a couple of positions between runners entering the turn, re-rallied with rivals on either side with five sixteenths remaining, angled five wide for the drive and when urged had more in the final furlong to finish up well enough to best the rest at the wire. HERETHEREVERYWHERE vied between rivals in the early going, began to edge away for the lead at the nine sixteenths pole, rolled along unopposed around the bend, was headed outside at the quarter pole, had something in reserve spurting away for a clear lead in upper stretch, could not fend off the tenacious winner by the seventy-yard marker and faded late to lose the place share a few strides before the finish line. SOMEDAY GIRL settled on the rail watching the lead trio down the backstretch, took closer order on the fence at the half, waited while tucked in on the rail behind the dueling pair waiting to move at the quarter pole, had a clear seam two wide in upper stretch but could only finish up one paced down the lane. SCARY BOO was unhurried at the rear in this compact bunch along the back straight, travelled outside runners three wide in the second flight throughout the turn, shifted out widest in the six path at the top of the lane but when roused late could not get into contention driving to the finish line.
