CLASSY IMAGE tracked the pacesetter outside at the half, moved in closing the gap smartly two wide at the quarter pole and with relentless pursuit down the lane wore down the frontrunner in deep stretch. KIKITSA took control from the start, rolled along unopposed throughout the turn, spurted away from the eventual winner in upper stretch but could not find more in the late stages to hold on up top in the final seventy yards still comfortably besting the rest at the wire for the runners up share. CYMBAL COURT stalked three deep near the rear, narrowed the margin going three wide outside horses around the turn in the second flight, shifted five wide at the top of the stretch and finished up with good intent to win the duel for third money while not threatening the top two at the wire. HOME FOR A REST settled on the fence ahead of only the poor starter down the backside, saved ground on the rail making little impression on the turn and rallied smartly up the fence in the stretch but lost the battle for show in the final sixteenth. VANDOO had a tracking role inside the winner with a half mile to run down the backside, was roused midturn chasing the top two runners, shifted out four wide straightening out for home but weakened in the two path between foes in the final furlong. I'M TENACIOUS was away slowly trailing on the rail down the backside, caught up to runners outside in the three path by the quarter marker, angled six wide for the stretch drive but could not get into contention running to the wire. I HAVE AN IDEA travelled in mid-division on the outside, kept pace with others between rivals two wide around the bend, lost her path unable to quicken with foes five wide turning for home and had no finish to offer in the stretch running.
