PROUD MISCHIEF travelled four deep in mid-pack outside runners down the backside, rallied around horses three wide in midturn, loomed the only threat in the three path turning for home, darted inwards to the rail closing in at the furlong marker and drew away comfortably for the win in deep stretch. WEGOTTATALK forced the issue inside at the start, pulled away taking control at the half on the fence, rattled on loose up front through the turn, was asked for more at the eighth pole still holding up front, switched back to the right lead at the sixteenth pole and was no match for the winner in the late stages. STILL DANCING travelled in midfield three wide between rivals, dropped back in the two path around the bend, started to lengthen stride two wide in upper stretch, drifted outwards while encouraged left handed driving to the finish dueling for third money at the seventy yards marker and edged away late for the third place share. SINFUL FORESTER trailed the field two deep at the half, began to pick up runners two wide three furlongs out, continued to circle outside foes five wide in upper stretch, stayed on the wrong lead battling for the show money down the lane, was bumped inside at the seventy yards pole and had to settle on the fringes in the end. STERLING HEIGHTS was away poorly to be in last on the break, advanced sharply between runners down the backstretch to watch the front pair by the half, offered a brief run on the fence from the three furlong pole until the top of the lane and tired from her early efforts weakening at the eighth pole. SPEIGHT RASEES stalked near the rear inside foes, made no impact seeing the field on the rail around the bend, swung out in the six path turning for home but made little presence driving to the wire. DIALEDINWITHA D poked her head in front between horses leaving the chute, was content to track the pacesetter outside at the half mile marker, chased the leader but to no avail through the turn and had nothing left for the drive to the wire faltering three wide in upper stretch. RIDERS CLAIM OF FOUL #7 SINFUL FORESTER AGAINST #5 STILL DANCING AND STEWRDS INQUIRY AT THE SEVENTY YARD MARKER RESULTED IN #5 STILL DANCING BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED FOURTH FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH
