Footnotes
BORDER TOWN stalked the leading pair, floated five wide advancing outside commencing a bid on those two leaving the turn, was in command at the three-sixteenths, kicked clear, held sway. QUITE READY settled off the pace, was encouraged along three furlongs out, was guided six wide in upper stretch, finished strongly to be gaining late but was only second best. LAST AMERICAN EXIT pressed then dueled with a foe from outside, was floated four to five wide leaving the turn by the inside rival, kept on late to be best of the rest while no late threat to the top pair. WARP RIDE had the early lead inside facing pressure, was headed up the backstretch and dueled in earnest thereafter, drifted out three to four wide leaving the turn, went evenly in the stretch. TOP OF THE CHARTS chased from inside, found room cutting the corner inside foes gaining while turning for home but flattened out. WHERE IS ESSA was outside at the back, encouraged along from the three-eighths but was never near enough to threaten.
