Footnotes
LOIS LEN vied between runners up top along the backside pulling at the rider, dueled outside with three eighths left to run, crept away up front while still hand with five sixteenths from the finish line, opened up at the quarter pole to have a commanding lead by the furlong marker and was kept to the task to the wire to coast home for the score. OLD SECRETS was allowed to settle into stride down the backstretch co-trailing on the inside at the half, inched up on the fence through the turn, continued the short way around rallying inside runners at the top of the lane gathering speed and chased the winner home, comfortably besting the rest at the finish line. BRIDGE TO NOWHERE travelled on the rail in mid-pack, edged closer inside by the half, started to mount a rally shifting out off the rail midway around the turn, had to be checked nearing the quarter pole when in tight coming up to a tiring rival, angled out six wide with run at the top of the stretch and finished up willingly to be a clear but distant third in the end. ROYAL BLUSH was situated in the middle of the pack travelling outside runners three deep, advanced three wide outside foes through the turn, shifted to the five path in the thick of things for the runners up share in upper stretch but evened out at the furlong marker to settle for a minor placing at the finish. FRANKIE'S GIRL co-trailed on the outside with a half mile remaining, offered a brief run three to four wide around the turn, shifted out six wide straightening out for home and showed some interest passing weary ones down the lane. ENGLISH BISCUIT settled in midfield between horses down the backside, dropped back to be in the last group with runners on either side around the bend making little movement, shifted out in the four path behind horses for the drive to the wire but lacked a rally down the stretch. CEFALO pressed the issue on the rail in the early going, had a slim lead dueling on the fence with three furlongs from home, conceded the front to the winner in midturn, angled four wide battling for the runners up share in upper stretch but wilted between foes by the furlong marker. CREATIVPERFORMANCE pressed the pace three deep down the backside in the beginning, could not go with the top two rivals into the turn, tracked the contesting duo between through the bend, had to be steadied nearing the quarter pole losing all momentum, dropped back to last at the top of the stretch and could not regroup to play a role in the stretch drive. STEWRADS INQUIRY REGARDING #1 BRIDGE TO NOWHERE AND #9 CREATIVEPERFORMANCE NEARING THE QUARTER POLE RESULTED IN NO CHANGE
