MARDENE was forced out on the break, tracked the frontrunner outside down the backstretch, rated kindly under a good rhythm waiting for the cue to go on the turn just outside the pacesetter, pounced outside at the top of the lane and drew away convincingly in the late stages for the score. VERI COLLECTED broke outwards on the start, recovered quickly to be alone up top dictating terms down the backside, continued on going comfortably up top around the bend, was headed outside by the winner in upper stretch, could not offer any resistance in the final furlong but ran on to the end besting the rest easily at the finish line. NOYZEE GIRL sat alone in mid-pack, chased the top two runners throughout the turn, continued in vain trying to get to the top pair in the lane, stayed on the right lead to the finish line and settled for a clear but distant third in a strung-out field down the stretch. ROYAL RIBBON travelled three deep close to the back outside foes, kept pace while moving three wide around the bend, offered a mild run four wide turning for home and while angling to the rail at the furlong marker ran on evenly to garner a minor placing in the end. GET OUT THE VOTE was situated on the rail tracking the pacesetter, dropped back on the fence midway on the turn while under a ride and made little presence down the stretch finishing up one paced to the wire. SCAT HUMOR settled on the rail ahead of only the poor starter down the backside, could not go with others through the turn and while on the fence down the lane passed a weary foe in the final sixteenth of a mile. SUPERSTARSUSAN stalked close to the back between horses, made little headway around the bend and in the two path with rivals on either side showed little in the drive to the wire. D'S KANDY was taken up abruptly trailing by many after the start, caught up to a rival outside by the quarter pole but could not offer a rally in the stretch after that compromised beginning.
