REGAL GUEST tracked four deep on the outside watching the frontrunner patiently in hand down the back straight, travelled three wide measuring the leader on the turn, moved to when nudged at the quarter pole to pose the main threat three wide by upper stretch and switched leads with a furlong remaining to draw off smartly in deep stretch. LITTLE THONIO was off slowly on the break, settled into stride narrowing the margin in the two path between foes along the backside, edged closer with runners on either side through the turn, rallied on the rail in upper stretch, shifted out three wide at the furlong marker and determinedly won the duel for the runners up share holding on late. GLINTINDADDYSEYE watched the front quartet when leaving the chute, dropped back while under a ride with a half mile to run, began to reach for more ground three wide in midturn, circled four wide around foes at the quarter pole and closed belatedly down the lane to just miss getting up for the place share at the finish line. MAGIC POWER was washy prior to the start, brushed inside on the break, tracked three wide between horses in the early going, poked his head in front by the three eighths pole, was collared outside by the winner in upper stretch, offered little resistance with a furlong left to run and faded late to settle for a minor share in the end. CRUCIAL TAUNT stalked near the rear four wide outside foes, closed the gap outside rivals down the backstretch, kept pace going three wide around the bend and could only finish up one paced in the lane from the three path in upper stretch to finish up on the rail at the wire. DILWAALA chased the pace on the rail in the beginning, could not go on with the lead group by the half, travelled in the wrong direction taking the short way around the turn and failed to menace in the drive to the wire. ROYAL FONZ broke out at the start, pulled the rider to seize command entering the backstretch, gave way up top to the stablemate at the three furlong marker, backed away through the field on the fence around the turn and could not factor in the stretch running. REALLOVEISLUCKY was allowed to settle seeing the field at the half, was scrubbed three eighths out but could not make any impression losing touch with rivals around the bend and galloped down the stretch to the finish line.
