Footnotes
SUMMER HOLIDAY had a good spot tracking the engaged duo on the inside, shifted out three wide making a move up to the front pair outside with a quarter mile from home, took over control by the furlong pole and was kept to the task to the wire to hold safe in the end. SLOANS SKY was ahead of one runner down the backside, circled around rivals four wide at the quarter pole lengthening stride, angled out widest in the seven path at the top of the lane and with a solid late charge from the outside closed in on the winner late but ended up second best on this day. LOOKHOWPRETTY was slow into stride seeing the field along the backside, mounted a rally angling outside three wide with five sixteenths to go to pick up rivals outside by the quarter pole, was full of run six wide turning for home and was gaining sharply on the top two late but finished up a clear third at the finish line. HYPER HOLIDAY travelled between foes three wide in midfield, ran evenly keeping up with others around the bend, shifted three wide at the top of the stretch looking for a seam, still lacked room by mid-stretch behind foes now in last place, shifted out widest in the seven path at the eighth pole for a clear run and closed in quickly late to be a fringe player. HOULIHAN forced the issue on the outside down the backstretch, continued to battle on the outside setting the pace around the turn, assumed a brief lead in the two path in upper stretch, had little left late from his early efforts and faded in the final sixteenth. MRS. BENJAMIN travelled four deep outside foes in mid-division, made little headway three wide outside horses on the turn, angled to the five path for the stretch run but lacked a finish in the late stages. PORSHAS RUN broke out to begin, had a stalking role outside close to the back of the pack, crept up the rail midway around the bend, shifted out four wide for the drive and finished up mildly to the wire but evened out in deep stretch. MISS WATERLOO was brushed inside on the break, settled in midfield in the two path between horses down the backside, offered a brief run at the quarter pole to be in range four wide for a piece of the prize in upper stretch but stalled with a sixteenth of a mile left to run. TENGO SECRETOS tracked the contesting pair outside down the back straight, was roused trying to keep up with the leaders three eighths from home, could not find another gear in the lane and wilted in the final furlong. ANOTHER PINKY had a slim advantage on the rail down the backstretch, battled stubbornly inside up front around the bend, gave way up front on the fence at the top of the lane and folded on the rail by the furlong marker.
