Footnotes
BRAQUET stalked close to the back between foes in the two path, commenced a rally picking up the bit between horses moving well in hand on the turn, found a clear lane three wide straightening out for home and tenaciously wore down the leader in the shadow of the wire for the win. HOLIDAY WITH AMY settled on the rail in midfield, advanced inside foes at the half, travelled on the fence watching the pacesetter around the bend, moved in to bid just outside the frontrunner in upper stretch, poked her head in front for a moment with seventy yards to go but could not fend off the relentless winner late. EMPTY GESTURE pulled the rider to the lead into the backstretch, dictated terms unopposed through the turn, was clinging onto the front while inside foes at the top of the stretch and gave way grudgingly inside the top two finishers in the final seventy yards to be a clear third in the end. GHOSTLY PERFECTION was unhurried trailing down the backside, began to go by rivals two wide at the three eighths marker, burst between runners smartly five wide offering a good run in upper stretch and finished with energy to get up for a minor role. PRINCESS BU CHERRO was situated between runners in the middle of the pack early on, could not maintain position and was shuffled back at the seven sixteenths pole, came on again edging closer in midturn to be in range sitting just behind the dueling leaders turning for home but stalled in the last sixteenth of a mile. VERY SAVVY travelled three deep outside horses in mid-pack, improved to chase the loose frontrunner while going three wide on the outside around the turn, drifted out in the five path failing to keep up to the leaders at the top of the lane and tired through the stretch run. SOUPER COP stalked three deep outside foes in the early stages, travelled three wide on the turn to be in the six-path straightening out for home but could not get involved in the stretch running. JULIE'S MIST was content to track the pacesetter outside down the backstretch, continued to keep a close eye on the leader while having runners on either side around the turn, was hard ridden but was dropping back at the quarter pole and emptied out in upper stretch. TURF AND SURF stalked on the rail near the rear, saved ground making no impact around the turn and showed little in the stretch drive.
