BABBO made a three wide move from mid-pack getting a better forward position at the half to track the frontrunner outside, measured the lone speed while moving in comfortably around the turn, pounced four wide in early stretch, switched leads when tapped right-handed at the eighth pole to open up smartly and held safe for the win when crossing the finish line. ARABIAN PRINCE stalked close to the back of the pack in front of a couple runners down the back straight. started to rally three wide outside foes at the three furlong pole, continued to swoop outside of runners in the turn to be seven wide in upper stretch gaining more speed, had another gear when asked for more at the furlong pole and finished up strongly to be a solid runner up with that turn move. WARHOL sat behind the quick early pace on the fence, settled on the rail in the third flight watching the lead pair around the turn, was hard ridden trying to reel in the leaders at the quarter pole, chased the winner in vain in upper stretch, moved into the place share by the sixteenth pole but was caught late and settled for a clear third in the end. FAIRWAY TO HEAVEN travelled outside in the third tier in the early stages, shifted to the five path to be in the hunt for a piece of the prize in upper stretch, could not go with the top two in the final furlong but still finished up willingly to the wire capturing a minor role at the finish line. ROAR OF THE CROWD was under a snug hold on the inside near the rear down the backside, improved on the rail midway around the bend, was checked in tight quarters skimming the fence turning for home, rallied up the rail at the furlong pole but levelled off in deep stretch. PROCTOR PHANTOM was unhurried to co-trail on the outside four furlongs from home, took closer order running outside a fellow rival on the turn, shifted to the four path at the top of the lane, darted inside off a tiring runner at the eighth pole and finished up with good intent in deep stretch. HAVE IT MY WAY sat alone in midfield with a half mile remaining, made little movement when scrubbed on between runners around the bend, angled to the four path in the stretch run but could only finish up mildly to the wire. SOUTHERN STYLE brushed the outside part of the gate on the break to co-trail on the inside at the half mile marker, saved ground narrowing the margin on the leaders through the turn, shifted three wide for the stretch drive, was checked briefly losing his path just inside the furlong marker and recovered to pass some runners in deep stretch. MAGIC SLIPS stalked outside in the two path ahead a few rivals down the backstretch, made little impact two wide though the turn, angled out to be in the six path straightening out for home but had little to show in the drive to the wire. BANKINGONAMIRACLE was loose on the lead down the backside, rattled along setting a fast pace up top around the turn, was collared outside by the winner in upper stretch and stopped in the two path in the final seventy yards. HAWKESBURY broke out on the start, travelled four deep in mid-division along the backside, offered a brief turn of foot three wide at the three eighths pole around foes to be six wide at the top of the stretch, could not continue the rally and tired with a furlong left to run. OTTAWA was off a step slow to begin, was coaxed on the rail for better inside position down the backside, had to be geared down coming up to runners in midfield at the half, made little progression in the two path throughout the turn and faltered in the final furlong.
