Footnotes
MANNIX (IRE) broke a hair slowly and making light contact with the rival, settled outside mid-pack, advanced five to six wide coming to the quarter pole, took charge at the top of the stretch, forged clear. JIMMIES BIG DAY exchanged light contact at the start, stalked the leading pair off the inside, made a brief bid four to five wide past the quarter pole in conjunction with the eventual winner, was no match for that one but second best. KIDDIE HOLIDAY lacked early speed, was encouraged along by the three-eighths moving out from two to four wide on the turn, swung out five to six wide for the drive, was best of the rest but no match for the top pair. ALWAYS A WAY lacked early speed outside at the rear, moved forward outside foes three to five wide into and on the turn swinging seven deep into upper stretch, kicked on mildly. TOURIST'S DREAM broke a tad awkwardly, was outpaced early, encouraged along three furlongs out, swung five wide into upper stretch, finished well but needed more. STOP THE HUMBUG settled off the pace, saved ground inside into upper stretch, was in a bit tight but through along the rail, evened out late. FEELTHEBEAT got away well, had the very early lead facing inside pressure, continued to press as that rival moved to the fore, was three wide into the turn, weakened in the stretch. FORESTER HUMOR bumped a rival very lightly just after the start, was in pursuit of the leaders racing off the rail, moved out four wide turning for home, weakened in the stretch. GHOUL (BRZ) pressed inside off the rail then took a narrow lead after about the opening quarter to force the pace, came up empty. ORCADIAN STORM was very lightly bumped after the start, dropped back inside from the three-eighths and tired.
