DARK SCREEN moved forward inside the early leader to take command after the opening quarter mile, set a pressured pace, kicked clear when roused, held safe. GO JIMMY GO bumped a rival lightly at the start, settled mid-pack two to three wide, came out and was forced out at the top of the stretch bumping the outside rival, fought gamely four to five wide between foe the place. SHADOW REALM was bumped at the start, chased from off the inside three to four deep, floated out and was bumped at the top of the stretch, contended for second outside runners but was outfinished. CALL ME SUE hopped at the start, faced traffic late up the backstretch between and behind runners, found room to rally inside in the stretch but was outfinished for the minor placings. MY BOY BRUCE pursued from mid-pack outside and in the clear mostly three to four wide, lacked the needed late kick. YOUR VALENTINO was caught wide through the turn racing outside runners four to five wide, failed to menace. GOLDEN TEST had the early lead for about the opening quarter, was overtaken then pressed what would be the eventual winner, lugged out at the top of the stretch, steadily weakened. AWESOME RAINBOW stumbled badly at the start, was at the back off the rail and never near enough to threaten. SOL DE VERANO was at the back outside four wide on the turn and never a factor and not persevered with late. HELANA chased inside, dropped back and tired, was not persevered with late.
