Footnotes
VEERY quickly moved clear, set the pace from off the rail, opened up in upper stretch and held safe. TALK TO YA LATER was bumped into a rival at the start, lacked room early under a tight hold in behind runners leaving the first turn and racing off the fence, continued mid-pack up the backstretch, angled five to six wide turning for home, was second best but no match for the winner. BIJOU BABY broke inwardly bumping a rival at the start, was caught outside at the back four to five wide, fanned seven wide into upper stretch, gained mildly late. DEVIL'S BIT stalked three to four wide while well-placed early, advanced outside a rival on the far turn and was put to urging by the quarter pole in pursuit of the winner, could not catch that one and lacked the needed late kick. FLYING BLACK tossed her head at the start, was forced out abruptly heading into the first turn then taken back and shifted in between runners at the back, was last late on the far turn, fanned eight wide turning for home, ran on while widest but missed the super. SWINGING MANDY switched outside the leader heading into the first turn, was a bit keen pulling a little early while relegated to stalk in behind two to three wide, asked for more leaving the far turn but failed to produce a rally while running on one-paced. BEDAZZLE ME was well-placed tracking in behind inside on or just off the rail, was guided out past the quarter pole and put to urging, came into upper stretch four wide, kept on but needed more. HAY HAY PAULA was positioned mid-pack outside mostly four to five wide through the turns and coming out a bit for the stretch run, failed to rally. GO GIFFEN was bumped at the start, raced off the inside toward the rear, came out five wide for the drive, was never near enough to threaten. PEMBERLEY was bumped into a rival at the start, shifted in racing near but off the rail at the back, failed to menace.
