STOLEN co-trailed on the fence in the early going, edged up inside foes by the half, lengthened stride gaining on the leaders in midturn, shifted out three wide at the quarter pole, had a full head of steam in the four path at the top of the stretch and wore down the inside rivals at the sixteenth pole for the win. GALLEY HEAD was away alertly to be on top at the start, hounded the pacesetter down the backside, continue to press the leader outside throughout the turn, battled on stubbornly between runners on the wrong lead down the lane in the three path but was not match late for the winner outside who had just a little bit more late. GIVE ME THE BOOTS was quick into stride taking command into the backstretch inside, quickened the pace up top while shadowed outside through the turn, dug in finding more when urged at the top of the lane holding off foes for a moment, could not fend off the oncoming rivals by the sixteenth pole through and gave way grudgingly to be a clear third at the wire. LADY MOONSHINE travelled on the rail watching the engaged duo, could not gain the front two when coaxed for more in midturn, shifted to the two path for the stretch running but was one paced to the finish line to settle on the fringes in the end. DIOSA CATRINA was unhurried seeing the field at the half mile marker, made little progress three wide through the turn, swung out widest in the seven path turning for home and finished with interest passing a few runners down the stretch. KAVALA stalked close to the back of the pack between foes two wide, could not quicken with rivals on either side around the bend and failed to menace driving in the four path to the finish line. T'PRING tracked outside in the second flight down the backstretch, was nudged for more at the three eighths pole but could not keep up with the lead three around the turn, shifted to the five path at the top of the lane, had little to offer and yielded by mid-stretch. CLEOMENES stalked three wide between runners near the rear down the backside, made little impact three wide around the bend, angled to the six path for the drive but could not get involved.
