ECHO WITH LAUGHTER came out a bit after the break, was in tight slightly steadying then altering out nearing the five and a half, bumped the outer foe at that juncture while seeking room, made a steady advance outside five wide in hand on the turn, took the lead at the quarter pole while drifting in a bit, kicked clear under steady urging and held safe. LAPOCHKA was in tight at the start, raced about five deep up the backstretch and was bumped into an outside rival near the five and a half steadying and altering in three to four wide, continued between foes chasing on the turn, kicked on to be second best. HANK OLLIE was forced out early prominent between the leaders, exchanged some bumps nearing the five and a half, shifted in and tracked close up in behind near but off the fence on the turn, came out in the stretch and kept on. WALTER ME LAD was forwardly-positioned contending between runners, went three to four wide on the turn, floated out wider turning for home, kept on seven to eight deep in the lane. EXECUTIVE SEARCH broke awkwardly, was in quite a bit of traffic steadying in the early going, shifted in soon after racing toward the back about three wide into the turn, came out gradually through the stretch finishing up nine wide and improving position. WILBERFORCE moved forward inside runners early but moving out far off the rail, bumped with a foe near the five and a half, took back and shifted in at that point, saved ground on the turn, ran on in the stretch. VICTORY MARCH moved forward inside to take the lead after the opening three-sixteenths, set the pace inside, was off the rail into and on the turn, switched out further at the top of the stretch once overtaken for the lead, was empty late. HELL BENT chased from outside exchanging some contact after the opening three-sixteenths, went four to five wide on the turn and was ridden by the quarter pole, swung out seven wide for the drive, was one-paced. STAR SCHOLAR appeared to brush the gate while getting away a step slowly, shifted in and was in tight quarters on the rail after the opening three-sixteenths, saved ground on the turn, failed to menace. AIM FOR THE SKY chased up close outside four to five wide, drifted seven to eight deep leaving the turn, tired.
