ATTACK hopped at the start spotting the field a couple lengths, settled at the rear, advanced outside five wide on the far turn coming into upper stretch six deep with aim and momentum, drifted in while gaining, edged past inside the seventy-yard marker and was eased up the final strides. ONRUSH pressed from outside, poked a short head in front at the quarter pole but found a stubborn foe inside, dueled with that one, won the battle but lost the war to get the nod for second while outkicked by the winner. CASH THE MONEY was quick to lead, set the pace facing continuous outside pressure while just off the rail, was headed at the quarter pole but fought on gamely dueling the length of the stretch and was just outfinished. NIIGON'S LAW moved out off the rail on the first turn settling in the back half of the field, advanced outside runners five wide on the far turn, evened out in the stretch but got the nod for fourth. WATSONVILLE RED lacked early speed, switched out off the rail heading to the first turn, was toward the rear inside a foe, waited briefly in behind runners coming past the quarter pole while moving out, came out further to be six wide at the top of the stretch, ran on but was missed the super. ARAMI'S SPEIGHSTER chased in behind off the inside, was mostly in the two to four path throughout and in range, failed to rally for the stretch run. OUT N OUT DISGRACE angled in entering the first turn but still off the inside part of the track at the back, could see them all entering the stretch, passed tired rivals. CONN SMYTHE (GB) bumped the inside rival at the start, shifted in and saved ground throughout to no avail. GERALD chased mostly three to four wide, was under urging past the five-sixteenths but lacked the needed late response and faded. GLOBETROTTING was bumped at the start, chased two to three wide, swung out wider leaving the far turn, tired in the stretch.
