THE BLUE UNICORN was forwardly-placed shadowing the early pacesetter, was niggled along a bit racing three wide and coming to the five-sixteenths, genuinely asked at the quarter pole having lost ground on the leader, kept on in the stretch to take over past the furlong marker and kicked clear under steady handling. MOTOWN FUNK broke inwardly and steadied, advanced between runners two to three wide into and on the turn chasing mid-pack in behind the leaders, came out four to five wide in the stretch, gained place late. RELOAD EH was bumped at the start then coaxed to the lead to set the pace from just off the rail and shadowed by the eventual winner, moved clear coming to the quarter pole, weakened in the stretch. SERIOUS GREEN bumped a rival at the start, settled at the back, was two wide on the turn, finished with mild late interest up the inside. HER OBSESSION raced outside at the back, swung seven wide turning for home, passed foes. MIGHT BEE SPECIAL broke sharply but was soon overtaken, stalked from outside racing mostly four to six wide, failed to menace. PERFECTLY RED saved ground but failed to threaten. IMPERIAL TRICK hit the gate and was forced in at the start, chased from between runners mid-pack, was three to four wide through the turn and faded in the stretch.
