HARD TO CAPTURE was allowed to settle on the rail trailing the field at the half, waited behind a wall of runners hard held while patiently ridden through the turn, started to rally when encouraged right handed in the two path at the furlong marker bursting between horses, shifted out three wide reaching for more ground at the sixteenth pole and drew off for the win in deep stretch. TEMPORA travelled in midfield between runners, stalked on the outside in the third tier through the turn, angled out to the five path for the drive to the wire, did not switch lead but was running on end late and got up in deep stretch for the runners up share. TAVALINE stumbled badly to trail the field at the start, rushed up outside foes four deep along the backside, continued to advance three wide around horses around the turn, poked her head in front at the eighth pole but faded with a sixteenth remaining to just save third place at the wire. BLAZING SKY broke in at the start, settled in the rear group with runners on either side, mounted a rally three wide with a quarter mile to run, was fanned out to the six path for the drive and finished up with good late energy to almost get up late for the show money. BIG GINGER seized command right from the start, had company outside by the quarter pole, fought back on the fence until the furlong marker and folded inside foes in the final sixteenth of a mile. TAMANA chased the frontrunners outside along the backside, travelled in the two path between the top pair in the mix at the quarter pole, shifted out off the dueling pair in upper stretch to be four wide having a clear run but finished up one paced posing little threat in deep stretch. FRERET was under a snug hold in midfield in the three path down the backside, could not keep up to others running three wide around the bend, shifted to the four path for the drive but could not factor in the stretch running. MI TORMENTA sat behind the pacesetter tracking on the rail, kept pace in the third flight saving ground on the turn, was in range on the fence in upper stretch but failed to fire in the final furlong.
