HAMMERHEAD settled mid-pack inside but just off the fence, moved out and made an early advance outside foes up the backstretch taking the lead at the five-eighths and moving clear by the half, extended the advantage on the third turn, had the jump on others and held safe. JOKESTAR settled outside near the back, was forced to fan seven wide turning for home, finished strongly to be gaining but too late. PASSING GAME set the pace in the clear near but off the fence, was overtaken at the five-eighths, continued to chase from near the inside, kept on gamely to share show honors. EFF THIRTY FIVE bumped with a rival at the start, stalked from outside racing mostly three wide, kept on to share third. JUNIPERO SERRA shifted in unhurriedly bringing up the rear near the inside, advanced inside foes on the third turn, moved out at the quarter pole coming into upper stretch four deep, ran on one-paced. COOL KISS bumped with a foe at the start, was forwardly-placed, stalked in hand, came up empty. ZABO bobbled slightly at the start, settled off the pace inside, moved out off the rail by the third turn, was under urging past the five-sixteenths, floated six wide into upper stretch, shifted in, failed to menace. TOSEN WISH (IRE) settled outside a foe off the pace, raced up near to mid-pack heading to the third turn, was carried eight wide leaving that bend by inside foes, faded in the lane. LOST ARK pursued mid-pack inside early, came out off the inside up the backstretch, dropped back on the third and final turn and faded.
