EVER DANGEROUS stalked from outside four wide, made a swift early move to the lead near the nine-sixteenths, was clear soon after, extended the advantage in mid-stretch then held safe. EL COHETE settled toward the back outside three to four wide, made an early advance just off the eventual winner, chased that one home but was no match while second best. GRANDSON settled off the pace two to three wide between foes, dropped back to the rear up the backstretch, came out a bit turning into upper stretch then was guided back in, rallied inside foes but well off the fence to finish best of all and secure show honors. HEMLO GOLD chased from mid-pack between foes two to three wide early, was in pursuit of the leading pair clear of the rest three to four deep coming past the quarter pole, went evenly in the stretch. POSTURING settled at the rear outside, was forced wide through the far turn racing four to six deep, ran on in the stretch but needed more. ONE MORE BREW stalked or pressed through the early going two to three wide, dropped back between foes, failed to rally. WAR IN CHARGE bobbled at the start then was urged forward, chased inside, moved out off the fence racing two to three deep late on the far turn, was one-paced and failed to rally. PALIO settled toward the rear inside, was off the fence on the far turn, never got near enough to threaten. JIM'S HOPE set the pace inside, was overtaken midway up the backstretch switching out off the fence to chase from off the inside, came up empty and was not persevered with from the quarter-pole on.
