DIXIE DOLL moved straight to the lead setting the tempo inside pressed early by an outside rival, edged clear about the five- and one-half, was shadowed closely by rivals late on the far turn, shook free of those extending the margin in upper stretch, held well while kept to task. FOG D'ORO pressed the winner early, continued stalking just off and outside that one, edged a bit nearer on the far turn but could not draw alongside, fought on between runners through late stretch to maintain the place. TIZ THE POWER was urged at the start, chased near mid-pack inside, was strongly urged coming to the three-eighths while being guided out, was three wide at the quarter pole, ranged up alongside foes in the stretch to battle for the minors and got show honors but was held off for second. FULLY COMPLETELY rated in behind the leading pair inside saving ground, was up close in behind still in hand on the far turn, had room up the rail in the stretch looming a major threat and now asked for run, could not make any headway on the leader and was outfinished for the minors. DIGITAL SECURITY broke a step slowly then stumbled, raced toward the rear inside, shifted out about the three-eighths, came past the quarter pole five wide, evened out in the stretch. CELESTIAL HEART broke outwardly, raced outside a foe early then just off the fence well back, failed to rally. ROSE FOR CARRICK broke a half-step slowly, was outside a foe off the pace near mid-pack, was forced out four wide coming to the quarter pole chasing, faded thereafter. PRIME MINUS broke a half-step slowly and a bit awkwardly, lacked early speed bringing up the rear off the inside, was not a factor.
