SUNRISE DRIVE got to the rail from the outer post setting a pedestrian pace around the first turn, continued to dictate a dawdling, even tempo loose up top down the backside, was headed outside briefly by a challengers at the five sixteenths pole, had plenty more left in the tank spurting away again while two wide at the top of the stretch and was kept to the task late coming home safely for the frontrunning tally. SWAN LAKE bobbled slightly on the break, stalked between foes in the secondary trio around the first bend, remained near the rear down the backside with the field tightly bunched at the half, edged up two wide outside a rival on the far turn with a quarter mile still to go, scraped paint straightening out for the drive, could not threaten the winner in the late stages but finished up well enough to clearly be second best at the wire. GREY PRINCESS had the rail position watching the front threesome in the beginning, tracked the front pair while tucked in on the fence along the backside, could not gain on the lead duo while scrubbed on for more on the turn at the quarter pole, skimmed the fence in upper stretch and ran on willingly to the wire just saving inside two others for the third place share at the finish line. FAST AND READY was at the back going three wide outside a couple of runners around the first turn, settled in last with the group very compact along the back straight, made little movement inside runners on the far bend trying to close into a soft pace, angled three wide at the top of the stretch and surged between rivals late, almost taking the show share but settling on a minor placing in the end instead. SAILOR'S PASSION vied between horses up top going into the first turn, was content to sit back, tracking the loose leader down the back straight, moved in to bid outside getting his nose in front for a fleeting moment midway through the far turn, shifted to the three path turning for home but could not quicken with the winner and faded in the deep stretch losing a couple of placings in a tight finish for the show money. C C'S KINGDOM was eager under restraint prompting the pace stacked three wide heading into the first turn, remained headstrong pulling at the rider three deep outside rivals down the backstretch, travelled three to four wide outside horses on the far turn but was retreating by the quarter pole and emptied out four wide at the head of the lane.
