Footnotes
ARMINO was u hurried seeing the field early on, advanced on the fence getting inside position at the half, was nudged along saving ground while closing in on the bend, skimmed the fence lengthening stride at the top of the stretch and with one final late push, surged by a very game frontrunner just before the wire. ARAMI'S SPEIGHSTER had a head in front on the rail early on, continued up top having a narrow advantage while hounded outside by a new challenger on the turn, moved out to the two path in upper stretch disposing of the turn rival, kept on stubbornly holding off runners in mid-stretch, never gave way to the wire but was nabbed inside by the winner in the last few jumps. LEMON TWIST had a stalking role near the rear ahead of only the eventual winner early down the backside, travelled four to five wide on the bend coming with a circling rally at the quarter pole. MONDAY MORNING was situated just off the rail in the two path in the latter part of mid-pack along the backside, got shuffled back on the fence to be at the rear by the three furlong pole, saved ground narrowing the margin around the oval and had good late energy on the rail through the stretch drive just getting nosed out for the show money at the finish line. CHUNKY MONKEY had the rail position in mid-division, took closer order by the three eighths marker watching the embattled twosome through the turn, shifted to the four path in the thick of things in upper stretch but was outkicked in the final furlong, losing a few placings late. IRISH DEPUTY sat isolated watching the lead pair after the break, split horses at the half mile marker to prompt the pace outside, battled outside going head to head with the pacesetter throughout the turn, angled three wide straightening out for the drive but gave way fighting up front by then and had little to offer late, tiring between foes in the final sixteenth. PREETZAH'S STAR settled outside of runners keeping a close eye on the front trio down the backside, dropped back between horses at the five sixteenths pole, shifted to the three path at the top of the stretch but failed to menace in the late running. BUTWAITTHERE'SMORE pressed the issue outside in the beginning, could not keep up to the lead pair while three deep at the half,Bret rested through the field three wide around the turn and was empty in the four path by the head of the lane.
